Since 2019

 I have always had an appreciation for high quality, solid wood furniture, but it was WAY out of my budget! I started to look for high quality, used furniture and WOW! The solid wood pieces were really rare but when I could find them, they were beautiful!

I bought a couple of pieces and decided to refinish them and I was hooked! I loved the silence of painting and staining alone. It gave me a chance to clear my head and merely worry if my brushstrokes were too prominent. I bought more pieces, stained or painted them, began to sell them, and realized customers really loved the look of my work!

When Mike decided to follow HIS PASSION to build custom furniture, our businesses merged into one.  When his unique ability to translate his furniture ideas into reality combined with my furniture finishing skills, Tinder Wood Works was born! ~ Tammy

A family Affair

When Mike and I started this business, we hoped it would be a way for our family to grow closer, to meet more people and to plug into our community. We have developed cherished relationships with new and returning customers. Our goal is to continue to grow Tinder Wood Works by creating an environment that respects community, sustainability and creativity but most of all, excellent customer service.
